Your instructor for this class is Doug Lowman. Doug is a fiber artist who specializes in the caning of chairs, rockers and stools and loves to teach this time-honored craft. Doug is active in many related organizations and lives on a farm in Telford.

About the class
During this 2-day workshop, students will learn to weave a stool using 5mm cane in one of several lovely patterns. The student will leave the workshop with a beautifully caned stool to enjoy for many years to come. moderate hand strength and no recent shoulder, arm or hand injuries are recommended. If you have questions about your ability to do the class, please contact us. Bring a lunch for Saturday's class.
